Business Valuation
Business valuation is a set of procedures used to estimate the economic value of an owner’s interest in a business. Valuation is used to determine the price in fair market participants are willing to pay or receive to effect a sale of a business. In addition to estimating a business price, business valuation tool is often used by business appraisers to resolve disputes related to allocate business purchase price among business assets, estate and gift taxation, divorce litigation, establish a formula for estimating the value of partners' ownership interest for buy-sell agreements, and many other business and legal purposes.

UltraCPA's team utilizes the various methods under the most three commonly used approaches a) Income Approach, b) Asset Approach and c) Market Approach to construct business valuation models for clients’ below needs:

  • Stock options issuance
  • Mergers and acquisitions due diligence
  • Intellectual property
  • Purchase price allocations (ASC 805)
  • Fair value measurements (ASC 820)
  • Estate and gift tax
  • Charitable contributions
  • Succession planning
